A man known for robbing banks while wearing a mask of United States President Barack Obama was arrested yesterday shortly after another robbery, Austrian police said.
The suspect was believed to be the same man who had already robbed half a dozen banks in Upper Austria province since 2008, always wearing a mask of the US President.
The man, nicknamed the "Obama robber" by the media, struck at a branch near the town of Voecklabruck and held a bank employee at gun-point before fleeing in a car, according to police.
