CAIRO - Eleven people died and five were feared drowned on Saturday after a minibus fell off a Nile ferry in Egypt, security sources said.
Eleven bodies had been recovered after the accident near the town of Minya.
It is the third major accident in Egypt since the start of the Eid al-Adha Islamic holiday on Tuesday.
At least eight Egyptians were killed and 24 injured when a bus collided with another vehicle on Friday. A metro train jumped its track at a station on the outskirts of Cairo on Thursday, leaving at least 34 people injured.
Reckless driving, lax traffic rules and poor road conditions cause many road accidents in Egypt.
