A 6.2 magnitude earthquake has struck off the west coast of Alaska this morning, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre reported.
The quake was centred 161km west of Attu Island at a depth of 28km, at 3.01am New Zealand time.
A tsunami warning has not been issued.
