After three days at a pound, a donkey detained as a suspect in a Colombia motorcycle crash walked free yesterday - but only after its owner paid a fine.
Police detained Pacho after a motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after crashing into the animal on a road in Arauca.
Owner Nelson Gonzalez insisted the donkey, whose legs were hurt in the accident, was not to blame. Investigators ordered Pacho freed after deciding that it served no use to hold it further. The motorcyclist is still in hospital.
