Pete Doherty was sentenced to six months in jail yesterday after pleading guilty to possession of cocaine.
The former Libertines and Babyshambles singer, and former boyfriend of model Kate Moss, appeared at London's Snaresbrook Crown Court before Judge David Radford.
The 32-year-old singer was arrested last year by police investigating the death of the heiress Robyn Whitehead after a heroin overdose on January 24.
Musician Peter Wolfe (Wolfman), 42, also pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of cocaine and one count of supplying cocaine to Whitehead. Wolfe was sentenced to a 12 months in prison.
Whitehead had been making a documentary about Doherty when she collapsed at Wolfe's east London flat.
