BRISBANE - Two dogs saved a toddler from drowning by pulling the boy out of a dam near Mackay, in central Queensland.
An Andergrove property owner heard a noise and found the 2-year-old and the dogs on the bank of her dam.
Police said the boy was covered in mud and had marks on his arms. Drag marks in the mud showed where the dogs had pulled him from the water.
He had strayed from home and the family dogs had followed.
