The millionaire CEO of US dessert company Dippin' Dots has become embroiled in a revenge porn scandal, after being accused of sending "private sexual images" of his ex-girlfriend to multiple people – including her own mother.
Amanda Brown alleges that ice cream mogul Scott Fischer spearheaded a "relentless and vicious campaign of harassment and retaliation targeting [her], culminating in his non-consensual dissemination of her private sexual images to third parties".
"On at least one recent occasion, Fischer delivered Amanda's private sexual image to perhaps the most traumatising audience imaginable – Amanda's mother," the 14-page lawsuit, seen by news.com.au and filed earlier this month in Oklahoma state district court, states.
Brown said that over the course of their "toxic" two-year relationship, Fischer consistently abused alcohol, despite her "frequently" pleading with him to stop.
Not only did he allegedly send the intimate photos of her, he also repeatedly suggested that he was "too rich or powerful for her to hold him accountable", boasting that "the law cannot reach him".
"Fischer has disseminated Amanda's private sexual images to third parties, threatened to do so, and attempted to blackmail Amanda to behave in certain manners lest he do so," the suit states.
"Frequently, Fischer has threatened Amanda with dissemination of private sexual images in order to persuade Amanda to give him something of value."
The former couple are currently disputing ownership of a dog and a vehicle they co-leased.
In alleged excerpts of text messages between the pair included in the complaint, Fischer wrote in December 2019: "I'm sending this and the [REDACTED] video to [Person A] to hold on to for us potentially fighting."
"You do and I will forever hate u," Brown responded, adding that their relationship was "done".
"F**k you, you are not a good person. I just sent you the pics by text that I'm about to send out. You will see what my revenge will do," Fischer allegedly wrote to Brown earlier this year.
"I just sent your nudes out to everyone [ …] watch what I do to you. I'm going to make sure any sex pics, bad pics are sent to your employer, they will be soon sent to our friends, then I'll sue you for [the dog] … do you want to see what war is like … I'm about to show you."
Brown said she was filing the lawsuit to prevent him from subjecting other women to the same treatment.
"Aware that predatory behaviour persists when unconfronted, Amanda brings this action for compensatory and punitive damages in order to vindicate her own rights and, hopefully deter Fischer – and those similarly inclined – from treating others the way Fischer treated her," the suit states.
Fischer's lawyers have fought to have the "outlandish" case sealed, declaring it contains "unnecessary inflammatory and hyperbolic allegations" and is little more than an attempt to "extort" their client "after he ended their relationship".
"It is unfortunate that she has stooped to the level of attacking my client, through an outlandish lawsuit, covering up her illegal actions," they told TMZ.
"Mr Fischer is disappointed this has become a legal matter despite his efforts to bring about a respectful resolution. He is ready to put the matter behind him and move forward."
