Dior gems stolen after Lindsay Lohan shoot

British police said yesterday they were probing the theft of thousands of pounds worth of jewellery which according to newspaper the Sun went missing after a photoshoot with Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan.

The newspaper said the 22-year-old American actress modelled the diamond necklace and earrings worth £250,000 ($648,000) for the shoot for Elle magazine at a London studio.

The jewellery was loaned by fashion house Dior for the shoot.
