The program says Trump began modeling in Milan (1988), and moved to New York (1996). When she graduated isn't specified, "so we're left to assume that the degree acquisition happened sometime in that range," Gawker says.
According to the New York Times and the New Yorker, Trump never graduated.
The Times notes "Melania's entire family sensed potential in her modeling. After high school, she concentrated on her career, dropping out of architecture school. (She still claims on her website to have graduated.)"
The New Yorker's article The model American, reads: "Her website states that she obtained a degree in architecture and design from the University of Ljubljana when in fact she dropped out in her first year."
