Princess Diana's 'back up' wedding dress and shoes have been sold for NZ $174,000 at auction.
An exact replica wedding dress and slippers made for Princess Diana in case anything went wrong with the original items, reported the Daily Mail.
The gown, which sold for 48,000 pounds (NZ $96,809) at auction, was specially commissioned by Diana as an identical match for her lavish bridal gown and was made by the same designer, David Emanuel.
It was bought by a fashion museum in Chile.
The dress was previously owned by waxwork museum Madame Tussauds, where it went on show at the time of the 1981 royal wedding.
