A dead mountain lion has baffled biologists after it was found with a fully formed set of teeth growing out of its forehead.
According to the Telegraph the lion was given to scientists in the US state of Idaho after it was legally shot for trying to attack a dog.
The law requires a conservation officer to check mountain lions after they are shot. The officer was shocked to discover whiskers and teeth growing from the cat's forehead.
The Idaho Department of Fish and Game said the teeth could possibly be the remnants of a conjoined twin which died in the womb.
