LONDON (AP) British officials are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in the landing gear of a plane at Heathrow Airport.
British Airways confirmed Friday that a body was found in the landing gear of one of its flights from Istanbul to London on Thursday and that it is working with police to establish how the incident occurred.
Police said officers responded to a call from airport staff Thursday morning and found the body of a man who was pronounced dead on the scene.
They believe the man is a Turkish national in his 30s and attempts are being made to confirm his identity.
