HAVANA - Cuban leader Fidel Castro has almost fully recovered from surgery that put his life at risk last year, a senior Cuban official told CNN.
"I think, in a way, he practically has fully recovered," National Assembly President Ricardo Alarcon told CNN in an interview.
He said Castro, 80, had put the "worst behind him."
