Australian convicted drug smuggler Schapelle Corby is set to have another six months cut from her jail sentence.
The 35-year-old has been recommended for the cut as part of Indonesian Independence Day celebrations on August 17, confirmed the governor of Kerobokan jail, Gusti Ngurah Wiratna.
Corby had her 20-year sentence reduced by five years in May after she appealed for clemency from Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
Her official release date will be set for March 2017 if the latest cut recommendation is approved by the Justice and Human Rights Ministry in Jakarta.
Corby was arrested in 2004 attempting to smuggle 4.2 kilograms of cannabis into Bali in a bodyboard bag.
