The half brother of Schapelle Corby has been directly linked to the drug run that led to her 20 year jail term.
Queensland detectives have made the allegations against 18-year-old James Kisina in court documents, after he was arrested in relation to a home invasion in Brisbane on Tuesday.
He claims he was trying to obtain evidence from drug dealers that might clear his sister.
Kisina was on the same trip to Bali as his sister Schapelle Corby - and carried the boogie board bag, later found to have 4 kilograms of marijuana hidden in it.
Corby's lawyers will now ask for details of Kisina's case, in an effort to re-open Corby's case.
Yesterday, Indonesia's highest court, the Supreme Court in Jakarta reimposed her original sentence of 20 years, which had been cut to 15 years. The move closed all legal avenues for an appeal unless new evidence is turned up and the case re-opened.
Corby has always maintained she knew nothing about the marijuana found in her boogie board bag last October.
