Conjoined twins separated in US

Ten-month-old conjoined twins attached from the lower chest to the pelvis were separated after a daylong operation at Los Angeles Children's Hospital.

Doctors planned to reconstruct the girls' chest walls and pelvis regions and sew up surgical wounds.
