HAVANA (AP) Colombian government and guerrilla negotiators have wrapped up another round of peace talks without yet reaching a deal on the second of five agenda points.
Recent discussions have centered on item No. 2: the post-conflict political integration of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC. Earlier this a year a preliminary accord on land issue was struck.
The FARC briefly called a time-out on peace talks last Friday due to a dispute over whether to rewrite the Colombian constitution.
They resumed Monday before pausing again Wednesday for a planned recess, and are to resume Sept. 9.
The two sides have been at the negotiating table in Havana since last year.
