Claims of US human rights violations investigated

German federal prosecutors confirm they are investigating a claim of human rights violations involving a US military prison in Germany as it emerges that testimony from terrorism suspects said the CIA used a military base there to interrogate Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, accused of masterminding the September 11 attacks, and fellow al Qaeda leader Tawfiq bin Attash.
