A Chinese restaurant has paid 580,000 yuan ($105,000) for a golden-coloured tiger fish, a symbol of wealth and good fortune.
The 1.75m long fish, weighing in at 48kg, was caught off the southwest coast of Zhanjiang.
The restaurant bargained the price down from 800,000 yuan butstill stands to make a loss as it is to be sold to diners at 2000 yuan per kg when it cost about 12,000 yuan a kg.
