Police say a 4-year-old child in Zofingen, Switzerland, has survived after tumbling from a 5th-floor window on to pavement 8.5m below.
Police in the northern canton of Aarau say the incident happened when the girl climbed on to a stove and opened a window to get a better view of a snowstorm.
She suffered bruises and a broken rib, and none of her injuries are said to be life-threatening.
