Dick Cheney says he urged President George W. Bush to bomb Syria in 2007, according to Cheney's autobiography, to be release next week.
In an interview to promote In My Time: A Personal and Political Memoir, Cheney said of the revelations in the book: "There are going to be heads exploding all over Washington".
Of his idea of attacking a suspected Syrian nuclear site, he says: "I was a lone voice."
