Two people have been charged with attempted armed robbery after a failed attempt to mug a diner attendant at knifepoint in southern Queensland.
Police will allege a woman produced a large knife and demanded money from the attendant at the Gatton eatery about 7.30pm on Friday but she and her male accomplice fled empty handed.
The pair left in a vehicle but were arrested shortly after.
They will face court later this month.
