A group of shoppers in the UK fought each on the floor of a supermarket "like scavenging dogs" while trying to get their hands on cut-price meat, the Daily Mail reports.
The fight - sparked when discount chicken and steaks were put out - was captured on film at a Tesco Extra store in Northampton. Shoppers can be seen in the video crowding in the aisles before pushing and shoving each other to get hold of the food.
Johnny Lester, 32, who filmed the incident, said:
"You could not get anywhere near the counter. Apparently this happens every night. There was a little girl you can see in the video and I thought 'if this kicks off' she is going to get hurt. There was loads of people getting involved but a lot of shoppers were standing around looking pretty bemused by what was happening in front of them. They were literally climbing over each other and pushing in just to get some reduced chicken. They were like scenes you see at refugee camp in Africa, not in 21st century Britain."
He added: "I think Tesco could sort out a different way of doing it and the shoppers should have more manners. It reminded me of the Black Friday sales you see in America - but this was over food worth a couple of quid."
