People severely injured in the deadly wildfires that tore across southern Australia in February will receive up to A$100,000 ($126,660) in assistance.
Hundreds of people were hurt in the blazes in Victoria state.
At least 173 people were killed and more than 7500 people left homeless.
Victorian Premier John Brumby said those who were in hospital for a lengthy period would be eligible for a lump sum of A$50,000 from the A$312 million Victorian Bushfire Appeal Fund, with those requiring long-term care eligible for an additional A$50,000.
