The Belize-registered Harvest sank off the coast of Zhejiang province, Xinhua News Agency reported late on Sunday, quoting local marine police from Zhejiang province. The ship was carrying 5,000 tonnes of steel from Shanghai to Vietnam.
All the crew members aboard -- 19 Chinese and one Indonesian -- were missing, Xinhua said.
The other ship, a 17,061-tonnne Chinese vessel, was sailing from Fuzhou, the capital of southeastern Fujian province, to Zhangjiagang in Jiangsu Province. The report did not say whether that ship was damaged.
