Three people have been charged within an hour of each other for driving the same car while drunk.
Police in Katherine in the Northern Territory made the charges after initially stopping a silver Hyundai Excel hatchback in the town about 8am local time yesterday.
The 33-year-old male driver was removed from the car and charged with drink-driving, police said.
Some 35 minutes later, police allegedly spotted the same car speeding on Katherine's outskirts, and arrested a a 36-year-old male.
About 15 minutes after his arrest, police stopped and charged a 34-year-old female, a passenger during the earlier incidents, who had got behind the wheel. All will appear in court on drink-driving charges.
