Callers overload president's cellphone

An attempt by Indonesia's President, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, to be closer to his people by publicising his mobile phone number backfired when thousands of calls and text messages crashed the line.

News reports said that more than 3000 calls were made to the number complaining about Government services.
