Six aircraft were battling a large bushfire at a popular Victorian holiday spot, Wilsons Promontory National Park, after a mass evacuation of holidaymakers.
Fierce winds were fuelling the blaze after hundreds of people were moved from the area on Saturday.
The fire has so far spread over 4000ha and the park remains closed.
A park spokesman said the fire perimeter was about 40km and there was no threat to private property.
