Bronze Age village found

A cluster of huts that once formed part of a Bronze Age village have been unearthed in Italy 3500 years after they were buried in a volcanic eruption not far from another, more-famous doomed site, Pompeii.

Excavation director Giuseppe Vecchio says archaeologists found them during an inspection of a building site 12km north of Mt Vesuvius, close to the town of Nola.
