Britain bolsters Afghan defences

BRITAIN - Another 130 British troops will go to Afghanistan despite the Government saying earlier there were already enough.

They will protect Kandahar airfield, a crucial Nato stronghold.

Britain has already committed thousands of troops to the south of Afghanistan to battle Taleban insurgents.
