Brisbane oil refinery evacuated

A telephoned bomb threat forced the evacuation of the Lytton oil refinery in Brisbane yesterday, police said.

Owner Caltex said operations at the refinery were unaffected as essential operators remained in a secure area. Police said a bomb squad team was sent to the refinery.
