Breast milk bank an Australian first

A West Australian hospital is setting up Australia's first breast milk bank. Perth's King Edward Memorial Hospital will open it at the end of March or early April.

Professor Karen Simmer, medical director of the hospital's neonatology clinical care unit, says it will help premature babies.
