Brazil man's genitals cut off and fed to pigs after alleged sex attack on niece

An uncle who allegedly assaulted his niece in Brazil faced a brutal retribution after the young woman's boyfriend and cousin chopped off his genitals and fed them to pigs.

The 36-year-old man allegedly tried to rape his 20-year-old niece in the Brazilian municipality of Olhos D'Agua. She managed to escape and told her immediate family, who then persuaded the alleged attacker to join them in a nearby sugarcane field to neuter wild pigs on April 19.

But, as he found out, it wasn't just the boars going under the knife

The furious pair reportedly beat the man unconscious before removing his genitals and leaving them for the surrounding wildlife.

Bleeding profusely, the man regained consciousness some time later and rushed himself to the Dr Gil Alves Municipal Hospital in Bocaiuva, where doctors were able to keep him alive and somewhat reconstruct his urinary tract. However, nothing could be done about reattaching his genitals.

Local police officer Stephan da Silva said cops searched the area for the man's missing parts but found no trace, believing they became lunch for the resident pigs.

"This case is something unusual, out of the ordinary. It is even inhumane," he said via the Daily Mail.

"It was like something out of a scene from a Dante novel," surgeon Felipe Lobo said. "His penis and scrotum had been severed and his external genitalia were completely missing.

"All we could do was stem the bleeding, give him a blood transfusion and clean the wound."

As the alleged attempted rape was not officially reported to authorities, it is currently unclear whether the man will be charged. He remains in hospital on antibiotics and will be able to leave in under four days.

The two men suspected to have removed his genitals have been arrested.
