A crew sailing a boat made of plastic bottles from San Francisco to Sydney is preparing to set sail from Noumea for the final leg of the 13,000km voyage.
The Plastiki - a 20m catamaran made from 12,500 plastic bottles - departed from San Francisco, California, in March.
The crew says the aim of the voyage is to highlight the vast amount of pollution that ends up in oceans, as well as overfishing and climate change.
