Nato troops detained the son of Bosnian Serb war crimes suspect Radovan Karadzic last night, witnesses said, piling pressure on the fugitive before next week's anniversary of the 1995 Srebrenica massacre.
Witnesses in Pale - Karadzic's wartime stronghold near Sarajevo where his wife, son and daughter live - said Nato soldiers raided the apartment of Sasa Karadzic, bundled him into a vehicle and drove off.
