Francois Hollande's disastrous public image has taken another blow with the publication of a picture of the French President kitted out in a traditional Kazakh fur hat and coat that sparked social media users to label him "Borat".
The photo was posted on Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev's official Instagram page but was quickly removed. Last year Hollande was subjected to ridicule after a picture was published of him with a dopey grin taken during a school visit.
In January a magazine published photos of him arriving on a scooter at the home of his lover, 20 years his junior.
