SYDNEY - The body of a promising ice skater missing since a horrific ferry crash last week has been found in Sydney Harbour.
Morgan Innes, 14, disappeared last Wednesday night when a HarbourCat ferry and a private wooden motor cruiser collided beneath the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Without naming Ms Innes, the NSW Police Force said a young girl's body was found near the Harbour Bridge about 1.45pm (3.45pm NZT) today.
She was one of a dozen members of Australia's skating community onboard the 10-metre motor cruiser on a sightseeing tour of the harbour at the time of the accident.
Three people, including NSW Ice Skating Association (NSW ISA) president Alan Blinn, 47, and Simone Moore, 44, who is also involved with the NSW ISA, were killed.
A work associate of Dr Blinn's, a 45-year-old Frenchs Forest man known only as Jamie, was also killed.
Eight others were injured, including Olympian Liz Cain, who lost part of a leg.
