The bloodstained bandage that wrapped Ariel Sharon's head after he was injured in fighting during the 1973 Middle East War has been offered on eBay, with offers invited from US$10,000 ($14,611).
The Israeli Prime Minister, a top general on the Egyptian front, was wounded when his armoured vehicle was damaged at the Suez Canal.
The seller, who did not want to be identified, said he was the son of an Army medic who treated Sharon's wound. After two days on the site, there have been no bids.
