A fire has broken out at an up-market apartment block on the artificial Palm Island in Dubai, with no immediate reports of any casualties.
The blaze is the latest in a series of fires to hit tall buildings, including residential compounds and hotels, in the Gulf's tourism and business hub over the past two years.
Civil defence teams were battling the blaze which broke out at the Oceana, a residential compound on the palm-shaped island, a Dubai media office said on Twitter.
"The building was safely evacuated and no injuries were reported," the Twitter account said.
