GLENEAGLES, Scotland - British Prime Minister Tony Blair arrived back at a Group of Eight summit in Scotland late on Thursday after returning to London for crisis talks following four blasts that killed at least 37 people.
Television pictures showed the Prime Minister arriving at the Gleneagles hotel where he was hosting the summit of leaders of major industrialised nations.
Blair, who met officials, emergency services and security agencies in London, wants to persuade G8 leaders to agree on Friday on concrete measures to help lift Africa out of poverty and to act on climate change.
