Billionaire Francois Pinault has scrapped plans to build a $265 million museum for modern art on the site of a derelict Renault factory on an island in the Seine.
He was upset with repeated delays and muddles about the development of the rest of the site. Instead, Mr Pinault said he would house his personal collection in the Palazzo Grassi in Venice.
