Cold War leaders from the Soviet Union, West Germany and the United States who saw the Berlin Wall fall two decades ago have been reunited in Germany's capital.
Mikhail Gorbachev, Helmut Kohl and George H. W. Bush paid tribute to the ordinary people behind the peaceful 1989 revolution during a two-hour reunion.
Celebrations are planned for the 20th anniversary of the wall's collapse on November 9.
