BBC axes its Caribbean broadcasts

The BBC is axing its broadcasts to the Caribbean, after 70 years.

The service is being shut down as part of budget cuts at the World Service.

Services in Macedonian, Albanian, Serbian and Portuguese have also been cut, as part of a bid to save almost £50 million a year.
