Bangladesh has accused India of killing civilians along its border, as officials from the two countries meet to try and resolve a dispute over part of their frontier.
The Bangladeshi foreign ministry said more than 50 of its nationals had been killed by the Indian Border Security Force in the past six months.
Bangladesh said most of the victims were innocent farmers working in the fields along the border.
However, the Indian forces said they only shot smugglers or illegal immigrants trying to slip into India.
Bangladesh and India have more then 4000 kilometres of common border, out of which the 6.5km border line between Bangladesh and north-eastern Indian state of Tripura was yet to be demarcated.
