About 140 people gathered in the gardens of the Australian consulate for the emotional memorial to remember the 202 people, including 88
Australians, who died in the October 12, 2002, twin nightclub bombings. Eight wreaths were laid from several nations, including Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Greece, Poland the United States and Britain.
