Fiji's military commander remained in New Zealand yesterday as Fiji police prepared to charge him with threatening to overthrow the Government in Suva.
Commodore Frank Bainimarama refused to comment on the prospect he will be charged with sedition on his return home or on Australian Government warnings there was "clear evidence" he was planning a coup in coming weeks.
