LAS VEGAS - A judge on Wednesday doubled the bail for former football star O.J. Simpson after ruling he violated a previous agreement when he tried to contact a defendant in his Las Vegas armed robbery case.
Simpson, who was famously acquitted in 1995 of murdering his ex-wife, spent the weekend in jail because of the bail violation. Clark County District Court Judge Jackie Glass said he would be released after posting new bail of US$250,000 ($323,582).
