A man who was viciously attacked with an axe drove himself to hospital in western New South Wales.
The 59-year-old man was struck during a domestic dispute at a house in Molong, about 35km northwest of Orange, and had wounds to his stomach, hip, leg and hand.
Police called to the home found he had already driven himself to a local hospital. A 29-year-old man was arrested.
