The mayor of Georgetown, Texas, has a thing or two to learn about modern technology.
Mayor Dale Ross took a break in the middle of a city council meeting on April 28, and appears to have accidentally left his microphone on as he used the bathroom.
City councilwoman Rachel Jonrowe had just started to speak about the very serious topic of antibiotic resistance when the mayor could be heard relieving himself in the restroom.
Ms Jonrowe did her best to stay stoic during the speech but couldn't help but break down in fits of laughter as the mayor flushed the toilet - and seemingly didn't wash his hands - before rejoining the meeting.
The clip of the proceedings ends without anyone in the room addressing what just happened. And neither Ms Jonrowe nor Mayor Ross have acknowledged the embarrassing incident on their respective Facebook pages.
