An Australian cat missing for over a year has turned up at her old house - more than 3000 kilometres away.
Along with her owners, Jessie relocated from South Australia to a new home in the Northern Territory in March last year.
"She was here for a couple of weeks, and we thought she'd settled in," owner Sheree Gale told Northern Territory News. But soon afterwards, Jessie disappeared.
Then, over a year later, Jessie turned up at her old house in South Australia.
Gale said there was no doubt her tabby cat Jessie had walked the distance from Berry Springs, in Darwin's rural area, to Ungarra on the Eyre Peninsula.
